Dvd drive for wii
Installed the new dvd drive for wii per guide, it loads and ejects disc but does not spin disc at all. Once disc is loaded it makes 3 clicking sounds then nothing happens.

Is this a known working drive? If so, I recommend you take the unit apart, remove the drive and then test with the machine open. If it's works, then there is a screw or something pressing against the drive. If it does't work, you'll need to check the drive (either using another laptop or another Wii)

you can also try replaceing the ribbon cable or the other one
