Power button acting weird

When I first got this it worked perfectly. Now when I push the power button nothing happens. I have to hold down any other button and then push the power button and I can use it except I can't utilize strong Add Water or turn it off. To turn it off I have to hold down a button okay... Seems like any button and then hit the power and it will power down. I don't know if it's in this settings I am seeing a crescent moon icon lit up. I don't know if that means anything or not. I've tried pushing every button in every sequins possible. Does anybody have any ideas I would appreciate it greatly!
