How do I replace the keyboard?
I need to replace the keyboard on a Dell Latitude 3500 and am looking for a step-by-step guide.

Cassie Wilderman download the service manual from here. page 109 tells you exactly what to remove etc. It is “not” a separate keyboard but it is riveted to the bottom case and you pretty much remove everything around it so it is pretty involved.

why do everyone suddenly decide to rivet their keyboard to the palmrests?
And yes, he do need to remove everything from their laptop prior to this. It's the consequence of having a "normal" layout of components.
