My 2019 16" Macbook will not start up...
I bought the Macbook Pro June 2020.
Why would a new Macbook Pro not start?
Apple help can't figure it out either.
Can someone help me figure this out!

Just called apple and they gave me keys to test out.
Try this.
Using left hand hold Control & Option
Using right hand hold Shift in unison.
Hold for 7 seconds
While continuing to hold those down
Hold the power button down for another 7 seconds
And release after.
You should see start up screen after a few seconds.

Appreciate the post. Power button alone was not working. Using your tip, was able to get control back. Ended up reinstalling the system.

I would return it to Apple, then maybe you could downgrade to the MacBook Pro early 2008. Those are much better computers, and can run the latest Mac OS with a patcher.

Can you provide any information on when the last time was that the macbook was working? Also, is it completely dead (i.e. no lights no fan no sound)? And is there any light appearing on the AC charger?

Did you find any solution? Mine died the same way. Just decided not to turn on one morning and none of the usual solutions work. Just over one year after purchase. :-(
