I bought two RAM sticks of 4GB each on ebay. The seller was very well rated, he told me it was "Major Brand" so I didn't worry about it. But today I received it and there is apparently no Brand, on nothing I could recognize...

Manufacturer is Micron. Don't know if they're a "major" company, but they definitely aren't just some hole-in-the-wall. Link to their DDR 3 RAM page.
