Hi, I accidentally closed the MBP 2021 M1 Max 16 inch and there was a little USB .
Screen cracked, in the begginning there were some vertical and horizontal lines but now it completely turned BLACK. Is there any solution(replace the display)?

Hey Psyke,
I'm sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately because of how new this product is your only option is to take it to apple as parts for these are non-existent outside of Apple and/or AASP (Apple Authorised Service Providers).

The warranty period is one year, and the device was released less than one year ago, you can take it to the Apple Store and see what they will do

Well its not so simple ;-{
Apple will only repair or replace systems under warranty which have a product defect not one caused by the owner. A cracked display falls in that space it won't be covered.
IF the OP had bought a service contract (AppleCare+) then the cost of the repair labor will be covered and part of the parts cost (I think its half here) So the OP is on the hook for ~ $400 USD (for reference a 2019 display is $820 new) and then you need to add the labor.
@danj It's a shame it broke in 6 months, as that is at least a $3000+ machine.
@guardian10 - lowest end prebuilt is $2,500 the top prebuilt is $3,500 and it goes upto $6000 with more RAM and storage. Just a little bit of pocket change ;-}
@danj He said his had an M1 Max and was a 16". The lowest end of those is $3299.
@guardian10 - True! But what was the config? As we don't know I just gave the vanilla answer addressing the range.
Mine is broken I send it to apple , cost 950€ , but they find some corrosion (water ?) and want to change the logic board 1700€ , but the Mac was working with a second screen .
They don't want to repare without changing the logic board, I can change the screen myself but it's impossible to find screen I f somebody have a solution

My MBP 16 inch 2021 m1 max 64gb 1TB. I will bring it to one of the apple related store. I have no apple care.
I will let you know the result. I paid nearly 3700usd and i have this usb crash after 2 months of use... Poooooof.
