There is a white line through the screen when powered on, all while showing the image in a duplicate split screen top & bottom. After signing in the screen shows green and black lines through it also having the same split screen?

Elbert Dozier we would really need to see what your screen is showing. Post some good pictures with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see. This does sound like a broken LCD but we still need to see it to verify. The white line, split screen could be driver board error which is part of your LCD display. Use these guides Dell XPS 14Z L412Z and combine those with this video should help you getting this fixed
