suitable battery adhesive substitute

kid dropped a glass on the tablet and broke the LCD behind the glass. its actually the 2018 model but that option wasn't available when making this post (t387w). I've ordered a new screen with the frame ect. and i feel comfortable doing the repair myself. from what i can tell its just swapping the parts from old to new, no big deal but i realize now after ordering the part that it doesnt come with the adhesive strips for the battery. my question is, do i need a special kind of double sided tape to fix the battery into place in the new screen/frame assembly or would any double sided tape work as long as its thin enough. does it need to be anti static?
