Why is my reverse camera not working

Are the reversing lights coming on when you engage reverse gear?

The back view camera will only turn on if the ignition is on, the transmission is in reverse gear and if the reversing lights are on.

If the reversing lights aren't on it may be a problem with the reversing switch. Usually this is located in the transmission but I don't know about your vehicle. This switch is used to signal the BCM (body control module) that the vehicle is in reverse so that the reversing lights will be turned on and presumably also to signal the back view camera unit to activate the camera and connect it to the display

If the reversing lights are on, then it may be a problem with the back view camera, the back view camera unit or the wiring in between.
