Phone screen is tinted yellow, depending on brightness
Repaired my cracked phone screen on my pixel 6a. The touch screen works, the fingerprint sensor works after calibration.
The issue is that the white balance is off, at high brightness everything is very clearly tinted yellow and at low brightness everything has a redy blue hue. Inbetween it still isn't correct when compared to a laptop or another phone.
I've gone through the display settings and night time screen settings making sure that there's no odd settings on and I'm fairly sure it's all fine. I also factory reset the phone which didnt help either.
When powering off the phone and it dims out, there seems to be a second of good white balance and when swipping down from the top the notification bar has good white balance too, its most glaring when looking at an entirely white screen with text or something.
I'm wondering if this could be a faulty part or if my phone's been damaged by having a broken screen (it oozed that weird blue ink under the glass) for a month or so before fixing.
Thanks for any help, there's a picture at the bottom.

Did you solve this? I am having the same with the original screen. If I twist the body of the phone, I can get it to go back to normal color palette momentarily.

I know you said that you checked settings and did factory reset that should solve what i am gonna say but what you describe and what i see on the picture is exactly as i have the reading mode on my Poco. So you have something like this on pixel? Or maybe on advanced color settings- accessibility - color correction is off?

Any luck? Same issue with the same model, screen was replaced with OEM part and calibrated. At high brightness its super yellow just like your photo and the and low brightness it has a red hue exactly like you mentioned.
