Apologies for selecting the wrong LG monitor model.
The correct LG model is 20MP48AB (2017).
A few days back, a vertical line started blinking every 7 seconds, disappearing within 2 seconds.
Please help

@invisiblebond that looks like a failing source driver. That was apart of the ribbon cables from the LCD to the driver board (part of the LCD display).You could check that ribbon for corrosion, small tears and small burns in that flex. Depending on what you find, IT may need a new panel or just some additional pressure on the ribbon. Once you have it apart, take a couple of pictures and post those with your Question. Hopefully we can provide more insight.

I removed the D-SUB connection and switched on the monitor, but it still shows the same problem. Therefore, there is an issue with the display.
Has anyone had a similar complaint, and is it repairable?
