Display is flickering a white screen. How to resolve it ?

@sadanandale connect an external monitor and see if that eliminates the flickering. If it does, then you know that the issue is either your LCD panel or your display cable. If it does not, then the issue is more deeply rooted in your video circuitry, possibly the GPU.
