I own a J5C09. I was just using the air compressor and as I was nearing the end/running out of charge, I noticed a small amount of smoke coming from the unit. I should probably note that I have used the unit mostly to inflate tires (as opposed to jump-starting). However, probably still less than a dozen times. Is my air compressor starting to die? If so is there any way to fix this, remedy or prevent it from happening?

@will6485 that is a difficult question since we really don't know what is going on with your power station. Smoke could have come from the battery or even from the compressor. Sometimes you just have to wait for things to break, before you know what needs fixing. Until you open it up and take a peek, it's all a guess.
