Icemaker not making ice

Maytag side by side, I have cold water in the door but not making ice. I changed the filter and that's when it started, correct filter installed.

There is usually a lever that tells the fridge that the ice is full. I don't have a maytag but in my fridge the old ice holds the lever up. I have to hit the ice to knock it down. It could be a coincidence about the filter change.
