After plugging it in, the LCD screen says E05 and just beeps, not allowing me to use it anymore. This code is not listed for troubleshooting in the manual. I called Breville and they said I need to ship it to them to diagnose the issue and then they will give me an estimate on the repair. Is this something I can do myself?

Error code E05 indicates a Triac (electronics) board malfunction i.e. a power problem.
Open the oven and inspect the control board and the power board for any obvious signs of component failure or damage e.g. burnt out or heat stressed components.

Can also be caused by an over loaded circuit in your house. Breaker on verve of operating can cause the error.
