My sound is broken

@karolistom34493 could be software issue or could be a hardware issue. you will have to start somewhere. First thing to do would be to start your phone in safe mode. Safe Mode puts your phone into a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slowly.

Press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.

Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release.

To confirm, tap Safe mode

• This process may take up to 30 seconds to complete.
• Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.

With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test your App's for sound. from here

If you do have sound, you know that it is one of the third-party app that is causing those issues. For that you would have to delete those downloaded Apps one after the next until you delete the bad one.

Should you still have no sound in safe mode, Try to see if you can run the hardware diagnostics on your Samsung. Dial *#0*# and see if you can now see Hardware Test Mode. If so, you see a Speaker item. Run the test for the Speaker and see if it passes or fails. If it fails, it's hardware and most likely requires a speaker replacement.

Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for this, use something like this video Replacement speakers are readily available at many online stores.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
