Hi, I have an older GE dryer model# DDE5900RALWH. The current motor in it is a 5KH26JJ064S Dryer Motor. I understand that the WE17X10010 is the current replacement motor but I know it is a universal motor that covers multiple models. Do you know what the wiring hookup would be for my situation switching from this motor to the new one? If it is complex I might have to reassess. Thanks for your help!!

Check behind the control panel for the wiring diagram.
GE usually places it there in their washers and dryers. It will show the wiring connections and colours for the motor so that you can verify which wire goes where.
