Choosing a Replacement Battery

@colewel you are absolutely right with this "The battery market has a lot of rebranding and ambiguous resellers." which does make it difficult. As a number one rule for myself, I stay away from Amazon, eBay and Aliexpress when it comes to battery. I prefer to deal with a "store" ( online or brick and mortar) that makes selling batteries their main focus. It's always nice to actually speak with a real person before purchasing and just to hear about their return policy etc.

However, even that does not fully protect us, the end user. It's a bit of a crapshoot but since you need a battery, give it a try. We can't give you any specific seller, since that is not very objective (unless the seller is known to the iFixit community) since everybody will have different experiences (it also invites Spam on here which we don't like:-)
