Just in case: KIA Sorento 2.4LGDI 2012
To start, I found the SM for this one, it's old enough to be readily available and dumped before Kia paywalled them. Based on some interior photos I found, it appears yours is clipped in where both the shifter cover and upper console covers need to come out to access the radio. The SM has the procedure in this case if you look at the one titled KIA_Sorento_2.4LGDI_2012. The other years are fundamentally the same car, so it should apply equally if you have an older or newer model.
