How do I replace the screen with/without frame?

Hi there, this is my first time posting on ifixit. I am wondering what i need to buy when i replace my screen for my oneplus nord 2t 5g CPH2399, as i was looking around and found third part sellers selling replacement displays with/without frames. I saw somewhere that a frame made it easier to install but cannot imagine how. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

@toivokoskinen it is always easier to replace an LCD with the frame. The display is glued to the frame. That way you do not have to try to peel the old screen off and start "digging" around for it. It's a straightforward replacement that will not need any adhesive etc. All you have to do is to transfer the parts needed from the old frame to the new one. It is a lot easier.
