Back Camera not taking Photos

My iphone 13 pro max back camera is not working properly. When I go to take a picture like normal, the picture does not go in to my gallery. It does not even show that I took the picture. When I switch to a different camera like portrait mode, the picture is taken. And sometimes the camera freezes and just shows a black screen where I have to close out the camera app entirely.

I checked for software updates and try turning off the phone then back on and the problem still did not go away.

Any suggestions?
