My touch screen not working

My phone fell and got a small crack, but the phone continued working for a good couple of months and then it just stopped 2 days ago.

What could it be? The phone hasn't fallen again.

Mine also fell the day before yesterday and it started having these ink line on the screen

While there's not actually ink in the screen, I understand that's a description of what you're seeing, which indicates damage to the LCD display. You'll have to replace the screen; that kind of damage is not repairable. See @oldturkey03's answer for information on how to make that repair.

@faheemabrahams anytime you have a cracked screen, it is possible that this expands internally by continues use until it finally damages the grid for the touchscreen. I suggest that you replace the screen and then re-evaluate.

Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for that use something like this video Remember there are two ways to replace the LCD. One is to just replace the LCD and the other way is to replace it with the frame. Get an LCD with the frame. It will be slightly more expensive but it will be a much safer and quicker way to replace it. You will not need to use heat and to remove the screen from the frame, which may lead to further damage.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
