1 DVD discs give "Disc read error." message.
My PS2 SCPH-39008 doesn't read DVD discs at all. It tries to read them for about 15 seconds before giving the "Disc read error." message. I've tried both DVD games and DVD films.
It started after I changed the BIOS battery, I've already tried to recalibrate the laser, and it helped with the CD discs, but not with the DVD discs. I've also tried cleaning the laser, but it still didn't help. The discs worked perfectly fine before so the discs aren't the problem.
