Help diagnosing the fault.
Is this issue caused by the led strips or the led driver board?
I haven't been able to find other examples where the TV has two vertical dark sections as shown.

Hi @diegod
It could be faulty LEDs/LED connections in the LED backlight strip(s).
The TV has two LED strips which are mounted horizontally across the top and bottom edges of the screen i.e. it is an Edge lit screen and not as in other panels where the LED strips are mounted horizontally in rows across the back of the screen.
Can't find a free download online but here's a link where you can buy the service manual, which may make it easier to isolate further exactly where the problem is.
