Larger version of the Nintendo DSi, released March 2010 in North America. Most repairs are accomplished with only a screwdriver and prying tools.

Is it possible to fix this?

I was trying to do a USB-C mod for my Dsi-xl and when I pulled off the charge port I pulled two pads I managed to get it on, but when I turned it on I got blinking light turns out I blown the fuse on the power board. I thought the exposed copper by the via caused the short so I removed the Usb-c and tore a third pad I dont know if I can now do the mod can it fixed ?

@christophe89153 Yes, it can be fixed :-) IMG #1 and #2 looks like you have some copper on the vias that you could use to run jumpers to the new connector or even rebuild the solder pads by using epoxy-bonded replacement patterns. #3 would just require you to run a jumper from point 1 of F1 (which indicates a fuse :-) to the proper contact of the new connector.

Thanks I'll give a shot

So i have to connect a jumper from positive vcc of the usb-c port to the right side of the fuse correct?

@christophe89153 yes. Kind of like I tried to show with the blue line :-) Have you ever tried to attach solder pads and rebuild traces by using some solder mask and repair pads? You would just need a small grinder ( or a scalpel) and a steady hand. I use the solder mask to "glue" the pad/traces to the board then grind some of the solder mask off to solder to the pads. It'll take a bit of practice but seems like you work a lot with failed pads etc. See if you have some old boards to practice rebuilding pads. It just has more structural strength then just jumper wires. I think there might even be some Youtube videos about this.
