Why does my screen got dimmer?
the screen got dimmer after opening it up trying to replace the buttons and something smoked up when trying to disconnect the cable near the fan with a metal tweezers(I know it is a dumb decision to usu a metal one)

So far, it does sound like something is damaged on the motherboard... You should check for shorts and also check the fuses.
