Year bought? No one will ever state accurately how long rechargeable batteries last but in general they won't last forever. Several years is an average conservative guess. zin the meantime, checking for clean and positive connections and ensuring the charger is outputting is about all you can do.
In addition to what the previous person said, check to make sure that your adapter isn't bent or broken in any way. I had an issue where my Fitbit wasn't charging last year, but it turned out I had bent the adapter without realizing it and needed to replace it.
