The seventh-generation Ford Fiesta focused more on a refined interior and advanced technology, including a move toward electrification before the model was ultimately discontinued. The core engine lineup was the 1.0L EcoBoost three-cylinder turbo, a 1.1L Ti-VCT and a 1.5L TDCi diesel. For the performance-oriented ST model there was a 1.5L three-cylinder EcoBoost engine delivering 197 hp and cylinder deactivation for better fuel economy.
