HMDX Jam Repair

Released in June 11, 2012, the HMDX Jam HX-P230 model holds features such as Bluetooth wireless up to 30 ft. and a 4 hour battery life. Also called the HMDX Jam Classic, this portable 3 in. x 3 in. x 2.6 in. speaker comes singly in a clever plastic jar packaging, screw on lid and all, to play on the use of the 'JAM' in its brand name. The speaker weighs about 8 ounces and is well fit to the hand, relative to the size of a an apple or baseball. The line of speakers are a product of the HMDX Audio and JAM Audio company which extends from HoMedics, a Michigan based company that manufactures personal health and wellness products.

The speaker has a black 2.3 in. diameter top with a silver HMDX logo on the center surrounded by a flat black mesh speaker cover and the middle perimeter comes in a variety of colors. The bottom is a black slip-free base with volume up, pause/play and volume down button as well as a Bluetooth LED indicator and battery display. The base also contains a charger port and 3.5 mm jack suitable for headset or auxiliary input.
