Background Information
The pi-top is the build-it-yourself laptop version of pi-top's learning computer series. Their goal is to provide an introduction to a world of physical computing and project-based learning for computer science. The pi-top runs on a regular Raspberry Pi 3 and is equipped with an additional board to handle I/O, power supply, the display, keyboard and touchpad.
It features a programmable keyboard with 82 keys, a small touchpad with palm recognition and is powered by a 3.7V battery with 2900mA (10.73Wh).
