I followed the instructions but am unable to get the phone to power on unless it is connected to a alternate power source,tried rebooting phone, I still get the same result,

When I unplug phone it loses power and goes dark,battery meter on phone says it's fully charged! Does SIM card need to be reinstalled before powering phone on?
