This card is strictly for the 3G connectivity. Only the 3G versions of the Vita will have this card and connector. The Wi-Fi only version does not have this connector installed.
Then you have the Wi-Fi only version. Only the model with the 3G modem actually has that slot. This part is the 3G modem module. The actual Wi-Fi chip is on the mainboard not as a separate module.
These antenna connectors are the worst to reconnect. Depending on the model and what repair you are doing, you may not be able to avoid disconnecting them.
I need the black piece that snaps the white battery plug onto the motherboard as I accidentally damaged it while trying to remove the adhesive. What is it called and where can I get it? Now the black piece has 4 contacts instead 5 so one of the Ground wires isn’t connected. The Switch still powers up but I’m worried that it could cause issues later or charging issues.
