montyanthony14, that is fuse number #10 in the fuse panel on the passenger side. Here is the real issue, that fuse also controls the Dash and console lights, Driver’s multiplex control unit, Front parking lights, Front side marker lights, Glove box light, License plate light, Taillights, Vanity mirror lights. So if that fuse would be out, none of the aforementioned items would work.

@irv1962 the brake light in the back of your vehicle or the light on the dashboard?

Which number #10 fuse there is like 3?

I have the same problem in my car when I look at the fuse it was literally melted partially and when I pulled it out only half of the fuse came out and the other little metal pole was still stuck in there. My fuse panel is burnt with two little burnt holes in it with a fuse of that is that mean that my fuse panel is ruined?

@emilyschultz that'll depend how badly those contacts are burned. If it is to bad, you can solder an inline fuse wire to the old contacts. That way you will not have to replace the complete fuse box, which will be costly and a pain in the rear to replace.

The #10 fuse in the passenger side fuse box on my 1999 Accord EX is just labeled "small lights/license light," but it is often the key to these problems. It had me stumped because I didn't consider the tail lights "small lights." But there you go, that is the most likely problem on this generation of Accord, anyway.

Hi @donhenslee

Here's an image from the 1998-2002 Honda Accord service manual, that shows the location of the taillight relay.

I have a 2002 Honda Accord SE for my daughter to drive to college. About a month ago, the dash, tail, and vanity lights all went out. All the online blogs and Youtube videos I searched indicated it was a bad fuse, bad turn signal, under dash driver-side turn signal relay switch, or the multiplex computer. Well I went crazy checking all of it and they were fine, but still no dash or tail lights. I finally today took it to my buddy a mechanic and in one hour call me back that it was fixed! Apparently there's another under dash relay switch on the passenger side he replaced which didn't show up anywhere online. It's a $15.00 part so there you go!
