I have lost my power adaptor
I have recently moved to Scotland and I do not have the power adaptor that plugs into the wall for my Sony handy cam HC 30
Can I purchase one?

The AC-L200 will work with your HC30. The Adapter is very common and supports several different models. You can search on Ebay UK to find the best price. Here is a link AC-L200 Ebay UK. Just make sure the adapter, and power plug is included. And make sure its the right adapter for your region.
