My Acer Aspire S 13 computer was working fine yesterday but all of a sudden when I tried using it today the screen just stays black. The power turns on, I can see the blue light, the keyboard also lights up when I click on it, I can also hear the fan running and even the screen lits up but it's still all black. I don't know how to fix it. Thanks for your help.

it's hard to say exactly what is wrong with it without taking a look at it, but more than once I have seen this happen to computers who were turned of during a critical update.
In that case a full reinstall will have to be done.
It's either that or your screen might be broken, in that case it needs to be replaced.
Very hard to help with this without being physically there though.
