Hello I have A0531h-1077 that doesn't power on, no LEDs come on (charging, HDD, USB, etc.). I've tried a different working charger but no luck. the problem occurred after my son plugged in the wrong charger with different AMP and voltage. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

First i would make sure that you have power coming from the AC adapter. Pull your battery and all your memory and remove all device that are plugged in i.e printer,cam etc. as well as Your AC adapter,. Give it some time and then re-seat your battery. This should reset your Bios. The try to restart with a AC adapter to see, or better to hear, if you get any error code beeping. If you still get nothing, it is time to disassemble your Acer and see what damage you have on the power side of your motherboard. Take a look at the Aspire One Service manual and hopefully you get it going again. Good Luck

You are welcome and let us know how it is going. When you check it pay good attention to the caps and resistors on the motherboard. They do have a tendency of giving out under extra amperage. Good Luck
