Stuck on low battery screen

@devinv10297 when a lithium-ion battery sits completely discharged for months drops the cell voltage below the safety threshold.. The battery's internal protection circuit will permanently disable the battery.

A solid green light on your device indicates that the motherboard has stopped supplying power. That does not mean your battery is fully charged ;) Try this: Connect your Kindle to a wall charger. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge the motherboard's capacitors. Connect the battery to the motherboard and plug the charger back in. If you continue to receive the blinking light error code after all of this, then your battery is dead.
