A couple reasons for a nonresponsive keyboard, are that it could be dirty between the keys or around the perimeter. Try cleaning all the spaces around the keys. If this does not work, a repair or replacement may be in order.

The battery on your computer may just be dead. Try charging it for about 30 minutes, and then see if it works. There could also be an issue with the power adapter. In this case a replacement must be made.

The reason that the track-pad is unresponsive is that the it could be dirty. So you could try cleaning it, if that doesn't work, you may have to replace it.
