Headset Will Not Power On or Dies Quickly.
The headset isn’t coming on at all or lasts for a shorter time than the product design.
Battery Issue
Make sure the headset has been charged for the appropriate time using the charger provided with the headset. If the headset will not power on at all then a faulty battery could be a possible cause. If the headset powers on but dies faster than the company advertises then a faulty battery is most likely the cause.
Headset Does Not Fit on Head Correctly
The headset isn't fitting correctly or won't stay on your head.
Doesn't Fit
These headsets are adjustable to fit a variety of head sizes. First check to see if you have adjusted the headset in the appropriate way to fit your head. If that doesn't work then the headset might be structurally malfunctional or broken. This can be fixed by correctly reconstructing the frame or replacing it.
Broken Frame
If the frame of your headset has separated or snapped due to physical damage then a replacement part is needed.
Microphone Not Picking Up Your Voice
The microphone is not recording or reading your voice.
Broken Microphone
First make sure that the microphone is not mute. If the microphone is not mute and the headset is still not picking up your voice your microphone could be broken. If your microphone is broken then the headset will not pick up your voice or it might only pick up your voice sometimes. A common problem is that the firmware needs to be updated. to fix this you will need to go to the Astro Gaming website and update your firmware. If your firmware is updated then you will need to repair your microphone.
Unable To Connect To Wifi
The headset is unable to connect to a wifi setting.
Broken Radio/Transmitter
Double check that the wifi option is turned on. If the wifi option is active and working and still not connecting to wifi, double check the wireless connectivity of the source of wifi nearby and make sure that it is within range of the A50’s capability, which is up to 25 feet. If after checking the activity of the wifi option and the connectivity of the wifi, you still cannot connect to wifi, the issue is a broken transmitter, which would need to be replaced or repaired.
Unable to Hear Anything or Hearing Static
The sound coming out of the headset is not expected.
Broken/Blown Speaker
If no sound is coming out of the headset speakers (both or only one) or is all you are hearing is static; first make sure correct that headset is on or that you are connected to radio transmitter. If headset is on and connection indeed is made and to transmitter then the speaker will need to be replaced or repaired.

how do you fix a faulty battery? my headset just wont turn on at all

My head set won’t turn on at all I tryed the hard reset with holding the game button and equalizer won’t turn on tryed hooking it to the pc still won’t turn on wen I look on my Xbox it says it’s all plugged in and working but no power light please help

Yeah, mine aswell. just happened, wont turn on on the head set, the base lights up, but both xbox / pc just wont work, any help everyone will be great , ps , have tried hard reset, but again nothing lights up on the headset , cheers

Hi. None of the buttons on the headset seems to be responding. The headset is charged, but I cannot switch it off, adjust volume or resync it with the base station as the buttons aren't doing anything. The game sound is still coming through, but when I plug my controller in for party chat, the chat doesn't work. Any ideas? Thought about letting the battery run down all the way down to ‘hard reset’ it, but I'm afraid it won't come back on. 2nd generation A50 wireless, the Xbox version.

I can charge my headset but then a red lightning bolt keeps flashing and the headset won’t turn on—- it also says my headset is connected on my Xbox. I tried restarting my console and headset and it won’t work

My headset won’t work without it being charged constantly, even when it says it’s at full charge it dies the moment it gets off the charging station or any charging point.

So this is weird because it was just like this on my dads Xbox now it’s mines too. But we have 3 Astro a50 headsets and they wasn’t working on his Xbox even when it said headsets connected but you can never hear or talk and we tried all 3 on there and he went to get a new one and the same thing was happening they wasn’t working we thought it was the tv because it started when my dad got a new tv but that’s not the case and we tried everything and they don’t work now a couple days ago we tried it again and they still didn’t work and now all of a sudden they don’t work on mines and i don’t know how to fix it I tried hard resetting and everything

no power coming to the base?
ive just turned on my pc for the day and no power is going to my base at all. ive tried multiple usb oprts and tried everything but there is no lights on the base

My problem started today, after I stopped playing for a while I went back on my Xbox but I could not hear anything, I did all the restarting, plug in plug out, waited and I still couldn’t hear anything. I joined a party i was able to hear my friends and they heard me too, I was just not able to hear the game or the little click sounds when scrolling through home on Xbox. When I raised the volume up on my TV I heard everything but Not through the headphones. I’ve checked the gaming and voice chat and that wasn’t it either, I ran out of ideas and if you had this problem please comment down, Can someone help?

Basically u have to make sure u update your base and then also make sure u put up for game volume in the back of the base there xbox and pc option that matters too.

I have a problem where I can only hear on the right side the set up is done correctly but I noticed that I can hear on the left if the microphone is placed at a specific angle

when I plug in my headset to my console the lights either flash once or twice then they shut off on the base or they just never power on it has no connection what do ever to my console and when I sit them on the base the orange charge light blinks every five seconds

Hold adobe and on the headset side press and hold game and it will reset.
