How to fix water damage
i want to know how to solve the problem of fixing an incredible that is water damaged. do i get a new logic board.

walt, the very first thing I would do, is to clean the complete phone, disassembled of course, with high grade isopropyl alcohol. Use this guide to work on your phone, and check on here about general cleaning. This great guide shows how to clean an iPhone, but all the points are still pertinent to your phone as well. Replace the battery after cleaning and see what you get. Hope this helps, good luck

First of all, I would recommend you to disassemble the entire phone and one by one use a heat gun to apply warm heat for each part so that any damaged parts would dissolve any part of liquid left. It will reform the parts back to its original state within matter of minutes after heat is applied.

Saf Sajid, what about corrosion?
will this work on my htc one s? I dropped it in water and now the sound dosent work,everything else works fine.

@ stella, No reason why it shouldn't. I definitely suggest for you to start with that. If nothing else, it will provide you with a known good starting point.
