Joy Stick Barely Works. Connection is bad. Advice?

Howdy iFixit! I bought this PSP from the thrift store because it was only $30. (Expensive Thrift Stores here haha). It works really well in most cases except for the joy stick. It hardly responds to movement, and the curser/player when you're using it moves around on its own. If you apply pressure to the PSP in that area, it sort of starts working. From what I've researched, the contact from the joystick to the logic board has separated some, so it doesn't really contact the board that well. That's what I've diagnosed, too.

The problem is, however, that I don't really know how to fix it. Anyone else had this problem before? I think it all happens when the PSP is dropped. :P
