Brother XR-40 Repair

The Brother XR-40 features 35 stitch functions, sewing assist 4-line LCD display, one-step bobbin clutch switch, autosize buttonholer, stitch balance function, adjustable stitch width and twin needles with fast needle threading system. This model is made in Taiwan.

The model name (Brother XR-40) is on the front of the machine, to the left of the stitch select buttons. If this label is torn or missing, the machine can be identified with its three adjustment knobs on top, 21 stitch select buttons on the front, and by the LCD display on the right front of the machine. The XR-40 is distinguishable from newer Brother XR models by its gray and white, rather than blue and white color scheme.
