The replacement went smoothly and. while it is listed as Moderate Difficulty, I found it quit easy. Even with my 72 year-old hands, using the iFixit tool kit. It took me about five minutes from opening the case to closing it again.
Thank you very much. I was cleaning my trackpad with a soft cloth and alcohol when one of the feet started displaying rubber all around it. I used your instructions and it popped back in where it should be. :-)
My advice is to not go cheap on the battery, I did and had to replace the “new” battery much faster than I had replaced the old one, and this after I had also replaced the hard drive with a SD card.
