Hello, my name is Lexi, i am currently a student at the University of New Orleans studying Mechanical Engineering. Learning how things work is extremely interesting to me. I have always had an interest in taking things apart and rebuilding them, so mechanical engineering seemed to be a good fit for me.

Since I was young I have been fascinated by history, specifically military history. I accredit this to my grandfather who has taught me about WWII history since I was able to understand it. His hobby for the last 40+ years has been building small scale plane models. As a child I would sit and watch him put the tiny pieces together; this sparked my interest in aircraft. My aspiration is to work as a "mechanic' for the Naval Air base near me and get to work with fighter jets. I figured if I can't fly them, repairing them would be the next best thing!
