About me

Hello, my name is Zeina Kachkouche. I attend the University of North Texas and am majoring in mechanical engineering technology. The reason I want to pursue engineering is so I can develop new ways of producing sustainable energy. It is a big goal of mine to work at a company that prioritizes clean energy. I would also love to learn to work on cars and refurbish old ones.

Groups/Clubs

The clubs I've joined so far are ASA (Arab Student Association) and SWE (Society of Women Engineers). I plan on joining the board of ASA for event planning to be more involved. Both are clubs that are getting me closer to my goals, and I've met most of my friends through them. As you can see in the photo to your left that is the 1st meeting of the SWE club at Discovery Park.

Hobbies

Besides school, I love to work out and wrestle, I am a part of the wrestling club at school and plan to compete throughout the season. I am also passionate about art; I love to draw in my free time and work with pottery.

IFixit Goals

This iFixit project helps me personally and professionally, it adds to my portfolio while also helping me learn more about my major and real-world problem-solving skills.
