I spilled a couple ounces of beer on my keyboard, and I turned the board over to let the moisture drain out and left it that way for several hours. A couple days later some of the keys were sticky. My research online to fix the problem showed that a keyboard can be disconnected and sprayed with water, then left upside down in a dry environment to dry out. Several suggestions even said a dishwasher was an easy fix, but that seems like overkill and I would worry about the heat effect; I wouldn't try that unless I was ready to buy a new keyboard anyway. That said, I did nothing and the keyboard work adequately , although a couple of the keys sometimes get a little sticky in humid weather.
